Boats at Southend
This is a pencil drawing of boats seen at South end .Alan recalls details from memory; this work was produced after a visit to the beach on a cold February day! There were some men fishing and as they attempted to land the boat on the beach, a wave swamped over the boat and they all got very wet. Alan doesn’t apparently register events or happenings of that nature but obviously remembers the shape of the boat!
